Founded in 2000 by Doug and Rhonda Kerkhoff, Kerkhoff Auction & Real Estate was established after Doug earned the title of “Colonel” and graduated from the Continental School of Auctioneering. Prior to launching the auction company, Doug and Rhonda have also been a part of their family farming operation since 1990.
In 2006, Kerkhoff Auction & Real Estate expanded by purchasing the Marguth Auction Company in Redwood Falls. This acquisition included a 7,000-square-foot indoor auction facility situated on 3.3 acres on the east edge of Redwood Falls — allowing for year-round indoor, outdoor and online auction services.
Growth continued in 2008 when Valerie Stephens of Olhausen Realty joined under the Kerkhoff Auction & Real Estate umbrella. Since that time, the company has continued to expand its team of licensed real estate professionals. Today, the team includes their son, Zac Kerkhoff, Broker and Auctioneer, along with Realtors Kara Prescott, Samantha Pendleton, Anna Smith, Brandon Kunkel, and Collin Kerkhoff. Together, they proudly serve Redwood Falls, Morgan, and communities throughout Southern Minnesota.
